STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM

flags study abroad program

CLUC offers the ideal place for students to experience a foreign culture. Students from academic institutions across the United States, as well as South America, Europe, and Asia come to CLUC for a semester or yearlong stay. Located in Buenos Aires, one of the largest and most cosmopolitan cities in South America, Lincoln immerses students in South American culture—with all its native and European influences.

At CLUC, Study Abroad students mix classes in English with Spanish language and literature classes. In this way, they learn Spanish and expand their cultural experience, while continuing to take courses that earn them credit in their programs back home.

The Study Abroad Program at CLUC also includes exploring Argentine gastronomy, live tango music, dancing and lessons, visits to classic and modern museums, a trip across the Rio de la Plata to Colonia, Uruguay, and an asado (BBQ) at the Estancia Los Talas, built in 1824 and which holds one of the most important collections of books and manuscripts in South America.

And, of course, outside of classes and events, students are immersed in argentine life. As the saying goes, Study Abroad Students “Live in Spanish. Learn in English.”
