Centro Lincoln University College is a vehicle for collaboration between the Universidad Nacional de San Martín and Asociación Escuelas Lincoln. This collaboration began almost two decades ago and is continuing. This year we are completing a process of bringing to an end (at least for the immediate future) our program of classes in liberal arts while we explore possibilities for future projects, such as a semi-digitalized version of our liberal arts program.
No credit courses August-Dec. 2012. Next semester we will not be offering credit courses for transfer to the United States and other countries. We will be continuing the work of the environmental monitoring laboratory, which may serve as the research center for future programs. We will also be offering community outreach workshops such as the one above.
TOEFL and CLEP Testing Programs to continue. Centro LUC will continue to be a testing center for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). The CLEP testing program was developed by the College Board in the United States and is the most widely-accepted way of earning university credit by examination. 2900 universities grant credit for successful completion of CLEP exams. Centro LUC is one of only two centers in South America for taking these exams, which are offered in 33 commonly-required university subjects.
